We are proud to again be the leaders in Bradenton's martial arts schools by offering personal instruction, 1/1 private classes, and semi-private classes (4) students max in class.

Martial arts help teach self-discipline and socialization skills. In fact, many parents whose children have attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) report great success with these programs because self-control and concentration are commonly underdeveloped skills in ADHD kids.

Martial Arts promotes improvement in other areas of life. What does "improvement in other areas of life" mean? It can mean getting better grades in school, knowing how to use anti-bullying programs to prevent violence amongst peers, or simply the appreciation that comes from learning and mastering a difficult skill through practice. Perhaps most importantly, students learn that physical activity is a healthy way to have fun. With health problems such as diabetes and obesity affecting more and more young people, parents should take steps to help their children avoid these issues. Children's martial arts gives kids a fun way to exercise, learn essential life lessons, and develop a sense of self-reliance.

Taekwondo ages 5 to 12

is a Korean martial art, characterized by its emphasis on

head-height kicks, jumping and spinning kicks, and fast

kicking techniques. Contrary to popular belief, this sport

is not violent nor does it encourage aggression.

Taekwondo is also a very technical discipline, which helps

children learn how to control their body.

 

It provides complete training, giving social and psychological value. Even the most timid

and introverted children will gain confidence, self-esteem and initiative.

  • It promotes concentration and discipline.

  • By mastering their body, they gain self-esteem and self-confidence. In addition, they will learn to interact with their environment more effectively.

  • Important values such as honesty, loyalty, camaraderie, teamwork, respect and humility are fostered.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu ages 5 to 12

Is a martial art system that focuses on grappling and

especially ground fighting. Introducing a child to the world of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in their formative years

is an excellent way to ensure they will grow up with a strong foundation of patience, confidence and discipline. Kids will quickly learn how to overcome their obstacles. In Brazilian Jiu-jitsu your child

will be challenged in ways that require transition from speed and reflex to complex problem solving.

Circus Aerial Arts ages 5 to 15
Circus and aerial work provides youth with a wide
range of benefits, including opportunities for creative
expression, support towards emotional health,
enhanced cognitive functioning, physical health,
and social development. Circus skills can increase
and improve coordination, visual perceptual abilities, sequencing skills, rhythm, timing, concentration,
and the ability to react and attune to others. 
Engaging in aerial and circus work provides students
with opportunity to enhance fine motor skills,
visual motor skills, and gross motor skills that improve
this cross-brain communication.
